    At the request of Regent Pacific Group Limited (the "Company"), trading   
    in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today         
    (30/5/2005) pending the release of an announcement in relation to an      
    update on the disposal of the shares in Bridge Securities Co., Ltd., which
    the Directors of the Company consider would be price-sensitive.
