Subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Prospectus and the related application forms, completed WHITE and YELLOW application forms must be received no later than 12:00 noon on 1st June, 2005 (or such later date as may apply in the case of a tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 or above or a ``black'' rainstorm warning being in force in Hong Kong as described under ``Effect of bad weather on the opening of the application lists'' in the section headed ``How to apply for the Public Offer Shares'' in the Prospectus). The final Offer Price, the level of indication of interests in the Placing, the basis of allotment and results of applications of the Public Offer Shares, the number of Shares reallocated between the Placing and the Public Offer (if any), and the procedures for collecting share certificates and refund cheques are expected to be announced in South China Morning Post (in English) and Hong Kong Economic Times (in Chinese) on or about 8th June, 2005. If you are applying for 1,000,000 Public Offer Shares or more on a WHITE or YELLOW application form and have indicated your intention on your application form to collect your refund cheque (where applicable) and/or (for applicants using WHITE application forms) share certificate (where applicable) from the Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, you may collect the same in person from Shops 1712--1716, 17th Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on 8th June, 2005 or any other date notified by the Company in the newspapers as the date of despatch of the same. Applicants being individuals must not authorise any other person to make collection on their behalf. You must show identification documents (which must be acceptable to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited) to collect your (where relevant) refund cheque(s) and/or (where relevant) share certificate(s). Applicants being corporations must attend by their authorised representatives each bearing a letter of authorisation from such corporation stamped with the corporation's chop. Both individuals and authorised representatives (if applicable) must produce at the time of collection evidence of identity acceptable to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited. If you do not collect your share certificate and/or refunded cheque, they will be despatched shortly after the time of collection to you by ordinary post to the address as specified in your application form at your own risk. If you are applying for less than 1,000,000 Public Offer Shares or if you are applying for 1,000,000 Public Offer Shares or more and have not indicated on your application form to collect your refund cheque and/or (for applicants using WHITE application forms) share certificates in person, your refund cheque (if any) and/or share certificate (if any) will be sent to the address as specified on the application form on the date of despatch, which is expected to be on or before 8th June, 2005, by ordinary post and at your own risk. If you have applied for the Public Offer Shares on a YELLOW application form and your application(s) is wholly or partially successful, your share certificate(s) will be issued in the name of HKSCC Nominees Limited and deposited into CCASS for credit to your CCASS Investor Participant stock account or the stock account of your designated CCASS Participant as indicated by you in the application form at the close of business on 8th June, 2005, or under contingent situation, on any other date as shall be determined by HKSCC or HKSCC Nominees Limited. If you are applying as a CCASS Investor Participant, you should check the number of Public Offer Shares allotted to you in the announcement to be published by the Company on or about 8th June, 2005 and report any discrepancies to HKSCC before 5:00 p.m. on 8th June, 2005. You can also check your new account balance via the CCASS Phone System and CCASS Internet System (under the procedures contained in HKSCC's ``An Operating Guide for Investor Participants'' in effect from time to time) immediately following the credit of the Public Offer Shares to your stock account. HKSCC will also make available to you an activity statement showing the number of the Public Offer Shares credited to your CCASS Investor Participant stock account.
