    At the request of Pricerite Group Limited (the "Company"), trading in     
    its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today (23/5/2005)
    pending for release of a press announcement in relation to (a) a proposed 
    issue of a convertible note, and (b) the update on the progress and       
    further information of the preliminary negotation with an Australian party
    as announced by the Company on 3 May 2005.
