    Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of Jinhui 
    Holdings Company Limited ("JINHUI HOLDINGS") have approved the subdivision
    of shares on the basis of 1 then existing ordinary shares ("Old Shares")  
    of JINHUI HOLDINGS into 10 new ordinary shares ("New Shares").  Effective 
    from today (23/05/2005), a temporary counter under stock code 2979 and    
    stock short name "JINHUI HOLDINGS" will be established for trading in     
    board lots of 2,000 New Shares each to replace the previous counter (stock
    code: 137) for trading in board lots of 200 Old Shares each.
