    Remarks:                                                                  
    1. Basis of presentation                                                  
    The financial statements are prepared in accordance with and comply       
    with all applicable accounting standards issued by the Hong Kong          
    Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("HKICPA"). The financial       
    statements are prepared under the historical cost convention.             
                                                                              
    The consolidated financial statements incorporate the financial           
    statements of the Company and its subsidiaries for the period ended       
    31 March 2005.  All material intercompany transactions and balances       
    within the Group are eliminated on consolidation.                         
                                                                              
    2. Taxation                                                               
    No Hong Kong profits tax has been provided as the Group did not           
    generate any assessable profits in Hong Kong during the three months      
    ended 31 March 2005 (three months ended 31 March 2004: Nil).              
                                                                              
    No PRC profits tax has been provided as the subsidiary of the Group       
    in the PRC did not generate any assessable profits in the PRC during      
    the three months ended 31 March 2005 (three months ended 31 March         
    2004: Nil).                                                               
                                                                              
    3. Dividend                                                               
    The Directors do not recommend the payment of any interim dividend        
    in respect of for the three months ended 31 March 2005 (three months      
    ended 31 March 2004: Nil).
