           The calculation of basic earnings per share was based on the       
           unaudited consolidated profit attributable to shareholders         
           of approximately RMB707,000 and RMB12,479,000 and the              
           weighted average number of 440,000,000 and 426,090,909             
           ordinary shares in respectively issue during the three             
           months and nine months ended 31st March, 2004.                     
                                                                              
       (ii) Diluted loss/earnings per share                                   
            Diluted loss per share for the three months and nine              
            months ended 31st March, 2005 are not presented as                
            there were no dilutive potential ordinary shares in               
            existence for the three months and nine months ended              
            31st March, 2005.                                                 
                                                                              
            The calculation of diluted earnings per share for the three       
            months and nine months ended 31st March, 2004 was based           
            on the unaudited consolidated profit attributable to              
            shareholders of approximately RMB707,000 and RMB12,479,000        
            and the weighted average number of 453,797,170 and                
            451,306,426 ordinary shares after adjusting for the effects       
            of all dilutive potential shares under the Company's              
            warrants.
