    The Stock Exchange has received a message from Century Legend (Holdings)  
    Limited which is reproduced as follows:-                                  
                                                                              
    "This statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong 
    Limited.                                                                  
                                                                              
    We have noted the decrease in the price of the shares of the Company on 9 
    May 2005 and wish to state that save as publication of the announcement of
    the Company dated 6 May 2005 on very substantial acquisition, connected   
    transaction and resumption of trading and announcement of the Company     
    dated 6 May 2005 on the further information on the qualified opinion of   
    the Auditor of the Company on the financial statement of the Group for the
    year ended 31 December 2004, we are not aware of any reasons for such     
    decrease.                                                                 
                                                                              
    We also confirm that there are no negotiations or agreements relating to  
    intended acquisitions or realisations which are discloseable under rule   
    13.23, neither is the board of directors of the Company aware of any      
    matter discloseable under the general obligation imposed by rule 13.09,   
    which is or may be of a price-sensitive nature.
