Following completion of the Agency Agreement and the Novation, LNX will be granted the overall management right of the Hotel Business. The Group would then be able to launch marketing campaign in order to attract customers to the Hotel and its entertainment facilities, including the gaming facilities. The Hotel has good location and is well equipped with facilities that cater for the needs of tourists and business travellers. The Group will therefore be able to tap the booming gaming and travelling industries in Macau, thereby enhancing the revenue base of the Group, through the exercise of the Fastpro Call Option. The Board believes that the implementation of the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement and opening of more casinos in Macau would continue to stimulate leisure and business travels to Macau. GENERAL An independent board committee will be established to consider the Agency Agreement, the Novation and the JV Agreement and to advise and make recommendation to the Independent Shareholders as regards the voting thereon. An independent financial adviser will be appointed to advise the independent board committee and the Independent Shareholders in this respect. Trading in the Shares was suspended from 9:30 a.m. on 11th April, 2005 pending the release of this announcement. Application has been made by the Company for the resumption of trading of the Shares on the Stock Exchange with effect from 9:30 a.m. on 9th May, 2005.
