    The Stock Exchange has received a message from Hutchison Global           
    Communications Holdings Limited which is reproduced as follows:-          
                                                                              
    "This statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong 
    Limited.                                                                  
                                                                              
    The directors of Hutchison Global Communications Holdings Limited (the "  
    Company")  have noted the recent increase in the price and trading volume 
    of the shares of the Company (the "Unusual Movements") and wish to state  
    that, save and except for the potential proposal of Hutchison             
    Telecommunications International Limited ("HTIL") to privatise the Company
    as disclosed in the joint announcement made by the Company and HTIL on 3  
    May 2005, they are not aware of any reasons for the Unusual Movements.    
                                                                              
    The directors of the Company also confirm that, there are no negotiations 
    or agreements relating to intended acquisitions or realisations which are 
    discloseable under Listing Rule 13.23 and neither is the Board of the     
    Company aware of any matter discloseable under the general obligation     
    imposed by Listing Rule 13.09, which is or may be of a price-sensitive    
    nature.
