    EXTENSION OF LONG STOP DATE                                               
                                                                              
    The Company has entered into a supplemental agreement dated 4 May 2005    
    with the Subscribers to extend the long stop date for the fulfilment of   
    the conditions of the Subscription Letter from 10 May 2005 to 30 June     
    2005 to allow extra time for satisfaction of the conditions of the        
    Subscription Letter.                                                      
                                                                              
    Reference is made to the announcements (the "Announcements") of the       
    Company dated 1 April 2005 and 21 April 2005. Terms used herein have the  
     same meanings as defined in the Announcements unless otherwise stated.   
                                                                              
    Pursuant to the Subscription Letter, completion of the Subscription is    
    conditional upon (i) the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange          
    granting the listing and permission to deal in all of the Subscription    
    Shares to be issued under the Subscription; and (ii) the approval of the  
     Subscription by the Independent Shareholders by way of poll at the EGM   
    on or before 10 May 2005 or such later date as may be agreed between the  
     Company and the Subscribers. The despatch of the Circular has been       
    delayed from 21 April 2005 to on or before 6 May 2005 and the EGM will    
    be held on 30 May 2005, which is later than 10 May 2005. In light of the  
     foregoing, the Company has entered into a supplemental agreement dated   
    4 May 2005 with the Subscribers to extend the long stop date for the      
    fulfilment of the conditions of the Subscription Letter from 10 May 2005  
     to 30 June 2005 to allow extra time for satisfaction of the conditions   
    of the Subscription Letter.
