    At the request of Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited (the 
    "Company"), trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30
    a.m. today (3/5/2005) pending release of an announcement in relation to a 
    possible transaction involving a privatisation of Hutchison Global        
    Communications Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 757).
