    ANNOUNCEMENT                                                              
    CLARIFICATION OF LATEST TIME FOR LODGEMENT OF APPLICATION FORMS           
                                                                              
    References are made to the formal notice of Bauhaus International         
    (Holdings) Limited (the ``Company'') dated 29th April, 2005. The          
    Company would like to clarify the latest time for lodgement of            
    application forms as stated in the Chinese versions of the WHITE          
    and YELLOW application forms.                                             
                                                                              
    Terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as           
    those defined in the formal notice and the prospectus of the              
    Company dated 29th April, 2005, unless the contents herein stated         
    otherwise.                                                                
                                                                              
    Due to typographical errors, the Company would like to make               
    clarification as to the latest time (the ``Latest Time'') for             
    lodgement of WHITE and YELLOW application forms as stated in              
    paragraph 6 under the heading ``How to make your application'' in         
    the Chinese versions of the WHITE and YELLOW application forms of         
    the Company. The Latest Time should be 12:00 noon on Thursday, 5th        
    May, 2005 instead of 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, 5th May, 2005. The           
    Latest Time as shown in (a) the front page and (b) paragraph 7 under      
    such section in the Chinese versions of the WHITE and YELLOW              
    application forms of the Company is correct respectively and such         
    typographical errors do not appear in the English versions of the         
    WHITE and YELLOW application forms.                                       
                                                                              
    Upon being aware of the typographical errors, the Company has taken       
    early and immediate remedial actions to avoid confusion, if any,          
    caused to the public including arranging to retrieve the erroneous        
    WHITE and YELLOW application forms and the  replacement WHITE and         
    YELLOW application forms are available to the public before 2:00          
    p.m. on 29th April, 2005. Applications under both the erroneous           
    WHITE and YELLOW application forms and the replacement WHITE and          
    YELLOW application forms are, subject to the terms of the Share           
    Offer and the relevant application forms, valid applications.             
                                                                              
    As at the date of this announcement, the executive Directors are          
    Mr. Wong Yui Lam, Madam Tong She Man, Winnie, Madam Lee Yuk Ming          
    and Mr. Yeung Yat Hang; and the independent non-executive                 
    Directors are Dr. Wong Yun Kuen, Mr. Chu To Ki and Mr. Mak Wing
