            The calculation of the basic earnings per share for the year is   
    based on the net profit for the year of HK$33,222,000 (2003:HK$50,280,000)
    and on the 1,600,000,000 shares in issue.                                 
                                                                              
            The calculation of the diluted earnings per share is based on the 
    net profit for the year of HK$33,222,000 (2003: HK$50,280,000) and on the 
    weighted average of 1,600,048,792 (2003: 1,602,729,443) shares in issue   
    and issuable on the assumption that the outstanding options are exercised
