    6.      EARNINGS / (LOSS) PER SHARE                                       
                                                                              
    The calculation of basic earnings /(loss) per share is based on the net   
    profit from ordinary activities attributable to shareholders for the year 
    ended 31 December 2004 of approximately HK$9,185,000 (2003: net loss of   
    approximately HK$22,827,000), and the weighted average of approximately 1 
    ,100,562,040 (2003: 1,100,562,040) ordinary shares in issue during the    
    year.                                                                     
                                                                              
    Diluted earnings / (loss) per share for the years ended 31 December 2004  
    and 2003 have not been calculated as the impact of the outstanding share  
    options was anti-dilutive.
