    The Stock Exchange has received a message from China Life Insurance       
    Company Limited which is reproduced as follows:-                          
                                                                              
    "With reference to remarks to the results announcement form for the year  
    ended 31 December 2004 submitted to the Exchange on 18 April 2005, please 
    be informed that the Fixed maturity securities under remark 1 for the     
    year ended 31 December 2003 should be RMB2,793 million instead of         
    RMB62,793 due to a typographical mistake."
