    Following the completion of the Placing, the public will be interested    
    in 27.00% of the total issued share capital of Enerchina as at the        
    Completion Date and as such Enerchina will be able to restore the         
    Minimum Public Float and comply with Rule 8.08 of the Listing Rules.      
                                                                              
    UNUSUAL TRADING VOLUME                                                    
                                                                              
    This statement is made at the request of the Stock Exchange.              
                                                                              
    The directors of Enerchina have noted the increase in trading volume of   
    the shares of Enerchina today. Out of the total volume of 53,090,000      
    Shares which were traded on the trading board of the Stock Exchange       
    today, 84.76% accounted for the 45,000,000 Shares placed to the two       
    other individual placees as disclosed to this announcement.               
                                                                              
    Save as disclosed above, the directors of Enerchina confirm that there    
    are no negotiations or agreements relating to intended acquisitions or    
    realisations which are discloseable under Rule 13.23 of the Listing       
    Rules, neither is the board of Enerchina aware of any matter              
    discloseable under the general obligation imposed by Rule 13.09 of the    
    Listing Rules, which is or may be of a price-sensitive nature.
