    CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING PROPOSED INCREASE IN AUTHORISED      
    SHARE CAPITAL AND SHARE CONSOLIDATION                                     
                                                                              
    The Company announces to clarify the information contained in the         
    announcement dated 30 March 2005 regarding the proposed increase in       
    authorized share capital and share consolidation.                         
                                                                              
    The clarification is made to both the Chinese and English versions of     
    the "Expected Timetable" of the announcement dated 30 March 2005          
    regarding the "PROPOSED INCREASE IN AUTHORIZED SHARE CAPITAL AND SHARE    
    CONSOLIDATION". The Board wishes to clarify that typographical errors
