    Origin Limited has been discussing with the Potential                     
    Investor for the possible subscription of new shares                      
    in the Company.                                                           
                                                                              
    Shareholders of and potential investors in the                            
    Company are advised to exercise caution when dealing                      
    in the shares of the Company as the discussion may                        
    or may not lead to any agreement being reached and                        
    the Proposed Subscription may or may not be                               
    materialised.                                                             
                                                                              
    At the request of the Company, trading in the shares                      
    of the Company on GEM has been suspended with effect                      
    from 9:30 a.m. on 16 March 2005 and will remain                           
    suspended pending the release of further announcement                     
    in relation to, among others, the Proposed
