    Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of        
    Linefan Technology Holdings Limited ("LINEFAN TECH") have approved        
    the consolidation of shares on the basis of 10 then existing ordinary     
    shares ("Old Shares") of LINEFAN TECH into 1 new ordinary shares          
    ("New Shares").  Effective from today (01/04/2005), a temporary           
    counter under stock code 8397 and stock short name "LINEFAN TECH"         
    will be established for trading in board lots of 1,000 New Shares         
    each to replace the previous counter (stock code: 8166) for trading       
    in board lots of 10,000 Old Shares each.
