    The Group has commenced considering the potential impact of these         
    new HKFRSs but is not yet in a position to determine whether              
    these HKFRSs would have a significant impact on how its results           
    of operations and financial position are prepared and presented.          
    These HKFRSs may result in changes in the future as to how                
    the results and financial position are prepared and presented.            
                                                                              
    3.  Basic loss per share                                                  
    The calculation of the basic loss per share for the year is               
    based on the loss of approximately HK$3,391,000                           
    (2003: HK$3,439,000) and on the number of 506,498,344                     
    (2003: 506,498,344) shares in issue.                                      
                                                                              
    No diluted loss per share has been presented because the exercise         
    of the Company's share options will reduce loss per share for both        
    years.
