08:57     CHINA SCI-TECH<02964> - Share Consolidation                         

    Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of China  
    Sci-Tech Holdings Limited ("CHINA SCI-TECH") have approved the            
    consolidation of shares on the basis of 10 then existing ordinary shares  
    ("Old Shares") of CHINA SCI-TECH into 1 new ordinary shares               
    ("New Shares").  Effective from today (11/03/2005), a temporary counter   
    under stock code 2964 and stock short name "CHINA SCI-TECH" will be       
    established for trading in board lots of 200 New Shares each to replace   
    the previous counter (stock code: 985) for trading in board lots of 2,000 
    Old Shares each.
