    Holdings Limited has been changed to "Haier Electronics Group Co.,        
    Limited". Accordingly, the stock short name of its ordinary shares (stock 
    code: 1169) will also be changed to "HAIER ELEC" with effect from Friday, 
    04/03/2005.
