    CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME                                                    
                                                                              
    The Board is pleased to announce that the name of the Company has been    
    changed from "Global China Group Holdings Limited" to "Sing Tao News      
    Corporation Limited" with effect from 4 February 2005. The Company has    
    also adopted the new Chinese name "*" in place of the previous            
    Chinese name "*" for identification purpose.                              
                                                                              
    Reference is made to the circular dated 13 January 2005 (the              
    "Circular") and the announcement dated 7 February 2005 of the Company     
    containing information on the change of name of the Company. Unless the   
    context otherwise requires, terms used in this announcement shall have    
    the same meaning as those defined in the Circular.                        
                                                                              
    CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME                                                    
                                                                              
    The Board is pleased to announce that subsequent to the passing of the    
    special resolution at the Special General Meeting in relation to the      
    change of name of the Company from "Global China Group Holdings           
    Limited" to "Sing Tao News Corporation Limited" and the issue of the      
    certificate of incorporation on change of name by the Registrar of        
    Companies in Bermuda on 16 February 2005, the name of the Company has     
    been changed from "Global China Group Holdings Limited" to "Sing Tao      
    News Corporation Limited" with effect from 4 February 2005. The Company   
    has also adopted the new Chinese name "*" in place of the                 
    previous Chinese name "*" for identification purpose. Relevant            
    documents notifying the change of name of the Company have been lodged    
    with the Companies Registry in Hong Kong on 19 February 2005.             
                                                                              
    Further announcement will be made by the Company in relation to trading   
    arrangement and exchange of share certificates.
