    At the request of Regent Pacific Group Limited (the "Company"), trading   
    in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today         
    (14/2/2005) pending the release of an announcement by the Company in      
    relation to the progress in the discussions by Bridge Investment Holding  
    Limited, a 40.2% owned associate of the Company, with respect to the      
    proposed disposal of its 77.75% interest in Bridge Securities Co., Ltd (a 
    Korean listed company), which the Directors of the Company consider would 
    be price-sensitive.
