    Market participants are requested to note that listing of the 2005        
    European Style (Cash Settlement) Call Warrants relating to existing issued
    ordinary shares of HK$0.02 each of CNOOC Limited issued by SGA Societe    
    Generale Acceptance N.V. (stock code: 2217) will be withdrawn after the   
    close of business today (03/02/2005).

    "Purchaser"  R.A.M. Lighting Holdings Ltd., an indirect wholly-owned      
    subsidiary of the Company incorporated under the laws of Ontario, Canada  
                                                                              
    "RAM"  R.A.M. Lighting Ltd., a company incorporated under the laws of     
    Ontario, Canada whose entire issued share capital, comprising 3 Class C   
    Common Shares and 3,000,000 Class A Preference Shares, was prior to the   
    Acquisition beneficially owned by the Vendors in the proportions as set
