08:54     FE TECH INT'L<02959> - Share Consolidation                          

    Market participants are requested to note that the hearing of the Petition
    for confirmation of the Capital Reduction has been approved by Court      
    and the Shares of Far East Technology International Limited ("FE TECH     
    INT'L") will be consolidated on the basis of 5 then existing ordinary     
    shares ("Old Shares") of FE TECH INT'L into 1 new ordinary shares ("New   
    Shares"). Effective from today (02/02/2005), a temporary counter under    
    stock code 2959 and stock short name "FE TECH INT'L" will be established  
    for trading in board lots of 400 New Shares each to replace the previous  
    counter (stock code: 36) for trading in board lots of 2,000 Old Shares    
    each.
