    At the request of China Sci-Tech Holdings Limited (the "Company"),        
    trading in its shares will be suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today  
    (1/2/2005) pending the issue of an announcement in respect of a proposed  
    consolidation of the shares of the Company and a proposed placing of      
    securities by the Company.
