    Market participants are requested to note the parallel trading in the     
    ordinary shares of Hua Yi Copper Holdings Limited ("HUA YI COPPER")       
    will cease after the close of business on Thursday, 03/02/2005. As from   
    the close of business on that day, the counter for trading in the         
    consolidated shares (stock code: 2953) of HUA YI COPPER as represented by 
    old share certificates will be withdrawn and trading in the shares of
