    With effect from 28 January 2005, the authorised representatives of       
    Haier-CCT for the purposes of Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules and Part     
    XI of the Companies Ordinance have been changed to Mr Wu Ke Song and      
    Mr Cui Shao Hua.                                                          
                                                                              
    Change of head office and principal place of business in Hong Kong        
                                                                              
    With effect from 28 January 2005, the head office and principal           
    place of business of Haier-CCT in Hong Kong has been changed to Units     
    6507-08, 65/F., The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong.           
                                                                              
    Proposed change of company name and effect                                
    As completion of the Asset Injection has taken place, a certified         
    true copy of the special resolution of the shareholders of Haier-CCT      
    dated 13 December 2004 approving the proposed change of name of           
    Haier-CCT from `Haier-CCT Holdings Limited' to `Haier Electronics         
    Group Co., Ltd.' and the Chinese translation of the name of               
    Haier-CCT, for identification purposes only, be changed from `*' to       
    `*', will be delivered to the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda for       
    filing on 31 January 2005. When the new name is entered on the            
    register by the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda, the change of name     
    in place of the former name will take effect.                             
                                                                              
    The proposed change of name of Haier-CCT will not affect any of the       
    rights of the Shareholders. All existing share certificates for the       
    existing Shares in issue bearing the current or previous name of          
    Haier-CCT will continue to be evidence of title to the shares of          
    Haier-CCT under the new name and be valid for trading and settlement      
    on the Stock Exchange, and will not require replacement as a result       
    of the change of name become effective. However, new share                
    certificates will be used by Haier-CCT after the change of name takes     
    effect.                                                                   
                                                                              
    A further announcement will be made by Haier-CCT on the effective         
    date of the change of name and the arrangements for trading of the        
    Shares under the new name on the Stock Exchange and for the issue of      
    new share certificates under the new name.

    As at the date of this announcement, the executive Haier-CCT              
    Directors are Ms Yang Mian Mian, Mr Song Chun Guang, Mr Cao Chun Hua,     
    Mr Wu Ke Song, Mr Chai Yong Sen, Mr Liang Hai Shan and Mr Cui Shao        
    Hua and the independent non-executive Haier-CCT Directors are Mr Lam      
    Kin Kau, Mark, Mr Fung Hoi Wing, Henry, Mr Lau Ho Wai, Lucas and Mr
