    The Directors wish to inform the Shareholders that the                    
    Prospectus Documents in relation to the Rights Issue were                 
    despatched to the Qualifying Shareholders on 10 January 2005              
    and the expected timetable as stated in the announcement of               
    the Company dated 17 December 2004 has changed.                           
                                                                              
    INTRODUCTION                                                              
    Reference is made to the announcement of the Company dated                
    17 December 2004 regarding Rights Issue (the "Announcement").             
    Terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those                   
    defined in the Announcement.                                              
                                                                              
    DESPATCH OF PROSPECTUS Documents                                          
    The Directors wish to inform the Shareholders that the                    
    Prospectus Documents in relation to the Rights Issue were                 
    despatched to the Qualifying Shareholders on 10 January                   
    2005.                                                                     
                                                                              
    CHANGE IN THE EXPECTED TIMETABLE                                          
    As stated in the Announcement, the expected date of (i) the               
    announcement of results; (ii) the despatch of the refund                  
    cheques in respect of wholly or partially unsuccessful                    
    applications for excess Rights Shares; and (iii) the                      
    despatch of the certificates for fully-paid Rights Shares,                
    was 28 January 2005, while the expected date for the dealings             
    in fully-paid Rights Shares to commence was 1 February 2005.              
    Shareholders should note that the expected dates of the                   
    afore-mentioned events have changed as shown in the expected              
    timetable below. Shareholders are reminded that the above
