    The Stock Exchange has received a message from China Sci-Tech Holdings Lim
                                                                              
    "This statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong

    We have noted the increase in the trading volume and the price of the     
    shares of the Company today and wish to state that we are not aware of any
    reasons for such changes.                                                 
                                                                              
    We also confirm that save as mentioned in the announcement and the        
    circular in relation to a Very Substantial Acquisition in relation to     
    Acquisition of Interests in a Hong Kong Company which holds interest in a 
    Manufacturer of Cars and Trucks and Issue of Convertible Notes dated 18   
    November 2004 and 31 December 2004 respectively, and in the price and     
    volume movement and clarification announcement dated 24 December 2004,    
    there are no negotiations or agreements relating to intended acquisitions 
    or realizations which are discloseable under rule 13.23, neither is the   
    Board aware of any matter discloseable under the general obligation       
    imposed by rule 13.09, which is or may be of a price-sensitive nature.
