    CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT                                                
                                                                              
    The board of directors (the "Board") of Yanion                            
    International Holdings Limited (the "Company")                            
    refers to the announcement of the Company                                 
    ("Announcement") dated 22 December, 2004 the English                      
    version of which was published in The Standard and                        
    the Chinese version, in The Hong Kong Economic Times                      
    on 23 December, 2004. The Board wishes to clarify                         
    information in the Announcement regarding certain of                      
    the working experience of Mr. Fung Chi Kin ("Mr. Fung")                   
    as follows.                                                               
                                                                              
    The English version and the Chinese version of the                        
    Announcement should have stated that Mr. Fung was a                       
    Director and Deputy General Manager (*) and                               
    not Director and General Manager (*) of Po                                
    Sang Bank Limited between 1986 and 1994. In addition,                     
    the Chinese version contained certain translation                         
    discrepancies relating to the Chinese job titles of                       
    Mr. Fung which should have been as follows: From 1995                     
    to 2001, Mr. Fung was the Vice Chairman of the Po Sang                    
    Bank Limited (*) and not (*) From 1995 to                                 
    2002, he was the Vice Chairman and General Manager                        
    of BOCI Securities Limited (*) and not                                    
    (*). From 2001 to 2003, he was the Chairman                               
    of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Associations                         
    Capital Market Committee (*) and                                          
    not (*). From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Fung                                      
    was the President of the Chinese Gold and Silver                          
    Exchange Society (*) and not (*) and is                                   
    currently the Honorary Permanent President of the                         
    Chineses Gold and Silver Exchange Society (*) and not (*). The aforesaid  
    discrepancies were inadvertently made due to                              
    clerical/translation errors and the Company                               
    apologises for any inconvenience caused.                                  
                                                                              
    As at the date of this announcement, the Board                            
    comprises six executive directors: Messrs. Cheng Shu                      
    Wing, Fung Chi Kin, Guo Duen How, Tom, Ho Yuk Ming,                       
    Hugo, Kao Ying Lun and Wu Fred Fong, and three                            
    independent non-executive directors, Messrs. Choy                         
    Tak Ho, Tsui Chun Chung, Arthur and Wong Chun Wah.
