    Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of        
    Emperor (China Concept) Investments Limited ("EMPEROR (CHINA)") have      
    approved the subdivision of shares on the basis of 1 then existing        
    ordinary shares ("Old Shares") of EMPEROR (CHINA) into 10 new ordinary    
    shares ("New Shares").  Effective from today (04/01/2005), a temporary    
    counter under stock code 2955 and stock short name "EMPEROR (CHINA)"      
    will be established for trading in board lots of 50,000 New Shares        
    each to replace the previous counter (stock code: 296) for trading        
    in board lots of 5,000 Old Shares each.
