    The Stock Exchange has received a message from China Nan Feng Group       
    Limited which is reproduced as follows:-                                  
                                                                              
    "This statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong 
    Limited.                                                                  
                                                                              
    We have noted today's increase in the price and trading volume of the     
    Company's shares and wish to state that save as disclosed in the          
    announcement dated 29th November, 2004 regarding the placing of existing  
    shares and top-up subscription of new shares and resumption of trading,   
    we are not aware of any reasons for such movement.                        
                                                                              
    We also confirm that there are no negotiations or agreements relating to  
    intended acquisitions or realizations which are discloseable under Rule   
    13.23 of the Listing Rules, neither is the board of directors of the      
    Company (the "Board") aware of any matter discloseable under the general  
    obligation imposed by Rule 13.09 of the Listing Rules, which is or may be 
    of a price-sensitive nature.

    As at the date of this announcement, Tam Jin Rong, Tao Ke Wei, Tam Kai On

    Sai Man, Lau Kwok Wah and Huang Shou Deng are independent non-executive
