    The Stock Exchange has received a message from China United International 
    Holdings Limited which is reproduced as follows:-                         
                                                                              
    "China United has appointed Chung Nam Securities Limited to stand in      
    the market to provide matching services for odd lots of the holding       
    shares on a `best effort' basis during the period from 6th January,       
    2003 to 12th February, 2003 (both days inclusive). Shareholders who       
    wish to take advantage of this matching facility either to dispose of     
    their odd lots of Shares or to top up board lots to 4,000 holding
