Frequently Asked Questions

The "access" part of the FAQ is only for subscribers who signed up directly with InTechTra.
Subscribers through a third party may have password from the reseller.  All subscription inquiries should be directed to the reseller. All technical questions should be directed to InTechTra.

Browser says "cannot find DNS"

Send us your correct email address 

Write us (keep a copy of your registration form for record) 

userid/password are case sensitive! 
Check spelling, cancel "capital lock", write to us.
Cancel the default password in your browser. 
Close Chinese reader program.

If you subscribe HKSR through a third party reseller, consult them for userid/password.

The internet is too busy (not necessarily our server). 
Reconnect or reload. 
Our server is live and well (unless internet is hit by lightning or broken down). Your shared line may be disconnected.

Viewing Report Screen messed up You need Netscape 4.0, or Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher to view.

Error when I try to view

You need Netscape 4.0, or Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher to view tables. 

You need to hit "save" every time you edit. 

Cookies corrupted - set up again. 

The portfolio stays with the computer/browser you input your data. You need to set up the portfolio again if you use a different computer, or copy the cookies.txt file to the new computer. 

Some browser requires hitting "edit" before "view" (don't know why)

Chart Chart irregular 

Chart missing

Try "reload". Delete cache memory and try again. Contact us if no improvement. Note that the charts are plotted directly with current price, which may not be corrected for split and consolidation.

Terminology Don't understand the terms  Please see the "howto" section and the warrant faq, etc.
Report update Report not updating The posting time varies, usually 9-10:30 am USEST 
Reload to refresh your screen. 
We are aware of delays due to technical difficluties in rare cases. 
Send an email if you like. Calling can distract us and cause further delay.
Real Time Quotes Trouble getting real time quote. Please see FAQ on Real Time Quotes .
Trading service Do you provide trading? Sorry, we do not provide trading. To remain neutral, we do not recommend any broker either. Please consult your local brokerage firm.
