Subject: Youth Support at the Hakka
Conference
Dear Mr. Lee,
Hello, my name is Brian Chin from the Toronto
Hakka Youth Association. I was one of the speakers at the Hakka
Conference who spoke about "finding our culture". Since then, we have
had an amazing response from the volunteers who worked very hard with many
administrative tasks.
I was very impressed at the depth of knowledge
you showed us at the conference with your slide show. Our organisation
took note to what you where professing, and have also downloaded your power
point presentation for further reference. What is much more fascinating
is the amount of resources that you have on your website as well (we can't
wait to read it!).
At this time, I would like to introduce to you
our newly created website, which contains an ongoing collaboration of writers
(whom are all members) for our organisation. Please surf to: http://hya.hypermart.net This year
we're going to try to provide a mentoring service for our community where our
members can learn first hand about the trials and tribulations of going to
university and choosing the right career path. We're calling it our "get
connected" series, and it starts in February with a resume and interview
skills builder. It's just in time to prepare students for the upcoming
summer jobs session. If you have time, we'd love to hear your comments
or recommendations.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Brian
