Re: Looking at history
Dear Dylan,
It is nothing wrong about proposing a hypothesis/theory nor being skeptical
about one. How to prove it requires meticulous search and research. Until
proven, theories remain so. Without the hypotheses and theories, knowledge
will not advance. Galileo and Copernicus suffered from much ridicule and
held on at the risk of their lives. Even today, Darwin is not accepted by an
education board in the US. Prehistorical events by definition are never
documented. It is up to us to re-assemble the evidence into credible
coherance. This forum has been a great learning tool for me. I have revised
the website as more information is known. As long as we keep an open mind to
accept new facts along our truth seeking process. This may be a hard for us
strong-headed Hakkas to follow. Hope our friends in here continue to
exchange ideas in all aspects related to Hakka and Chinese culture.
