Hakka Conference in Toronto

Dear Hakka friends,

Just stepped off the plane, coming back from the Hakka conference in
Toronto. It was a smashing success!

I would like to thank Keith Lowe and all the numerous helpful friends at the
conference for their hospitality and assistance. I have attended more than a
hundred conferences at least (mostly on science). None is as moving as this
one. I would like to invite those of you who participated to write a few
words about your thoughts on this conference. Please send an email to
fhakka@asiawind.com .

I apologize that I had to skip short many slides due to time limitation. For
those who want to see my slides again, please download from this URL:

http://www.asiawind.com/toron0012.ppt

You may need a Chinese font reader and Powerpoint2000 to read it. If you
don't have these softwares, please ask your friend to help you. It is about
4MB. So, it takes some time to download. As it contains some materials from
other sites, please do not redistribute. I will delete this URL within a
week. To honor copyrights I have placed references to the originals as far
as possible. But I might have missed a few due to space limitations or
combination of too many on one slide. Do let me know if you encounter any
problems.

Someone suggested that this Hakka website should post the articles of the
Conference. I welcome the idea. Please do NOT send the article to the forum.
But attach it to an email to me.
sllee@asiawind.com. I will set up a separate section for the conference.
Please also try to limit graphics if at all possible as we are quickly
running out of server space and may need to upgrade soon.

Wish everybody a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

S. L. Lee
