Hakka Primer
Hi Folks,
I've just placed up the 'Zeng Guang' which was once used as primer for
learning Chinese characters. I've not given any translation, but I have
given a consistent pronunciation in Hong Kong Hakka, to each character of
the text. The romanisation should be easy enough for most Hakka speaking
folks, however, I am not claiming that it is the standard to use. HongKong
Hakka has a smaller repetoire of sounds, and hopefully this may encourage
some sort of learning by folks who can speak Hakka, but not know Chinese
characters. Alternatively, I hope the characters will provide a useful
means to find the meanings in standard Chinese dictionaries of Mandarin,
but the pronunciation given in Hakka will aid some fixing of sounds for
those who don't know Hakka. Or both.

Let me know what you think.
Cheers,
