wow~ a lot I didnt know about hakka ppls!

'Lo there =) 
I just stumbled across this webpage today... Certainly
a lot I never knew about Hakka ppls! I'm a British
born Hakka jai ^_^ Parents are from Hong Kong... My
home spoken language is Hakka... Just kinda suprised
me to read all this stuff on Hakka origin n stuff!~ I
always wondered about family history and all that...
My parents and grandparents have never spoke of Hakka
origins in detail (if at all!).. I wonder which
subsubsub!- dialect of Hakka I speak... looks like
theres quite a few! (My bro married a
Vietnamese-American girl... she speaks a kinda pseudo
hakka dialect I think... I understood what she said
when she spoke it!)
My "heong har" is in Sha Tau Kok ("Sin Chun"), Hong
Kong... if that means anything to you ppl! (been
there... quiet place!... bit smelly tho hehe!). My
surname => Chan... mommY maiden name => Tsang... I
guess I'm just curious of my ancestors and the past
and all~ Here in the UK (USA too I guess), people can
trace family trees and stuff... I guess theres way too
many chinese people to trace! 

Hmm think I'll go read some more o these pages =)
