According to one of the sources, the Soong family is Hakka from Hainan
island. Soong ZiWen got his education from Harvard University and became a
powerful economist and merchant. He has three sisters. Soong QingLing the
older sister is madam Sun Yat Sen.  She remained in mainland China until she
died. Soong MeiLing, Madam Chiang Kai Shek, is still living in New York,
just past her 100th birthday not long ago. Soong AiLing is a much less know
sister.
