RE: Optimism about our future

This is a side track. About 60 people starved to death in my mom's Fu Shan's
village in Win Teng(Yong Ding) county as told by the village's elders to me.
About 20 people starved to death in my dad's Shong Chuan village. One of my
Malaysian relative visited the my dad's village during the 3-year man-made
disaster, and the girls told him that their monthly period has stopped ! He
was questioned by the village's communist and spending only 2 days in the
village and decided to go back to Malaysia as soon s he can.

Forgive, yes, forgotten ? No! Because He who forget the past will be
condemned to repeat it(forget the writer's name that wrote this). The tracks
of the previous car serve as the experience for future driving(Chinese
saying).

Now back to the topic: The disappearing of other minority cultures serve as
the writing on the wall for the Hakkas.

PS: Moi Yen is the only significant "industrial" base the Hakkas have as
most of them were started by oversea Hakkas. MeiZhou is a big city with 2
million population under its metro area. It has airport, battery factory,
INTERNET cafe, wireless communication system, a university, and other
factories and establishments. I even attended a fully blown Chinese opera
show and visited the university while I was there ! Moi Yen is not a small
sleepy town !
