Hakka Youth Panel

Dear Jonathan, Dr Lau Chun Fat, participants of the asiawind forum,
I have to tell you that Fiona Lee from Australia gave us a useful idea for
the conference. She came up with a youth panel, where a few speakers would
do some thought pieces, then discussion would be an open forum so the
audience could participate.

I invite all of you to share your ideas and suggestions on topics or issues
the youths may want to explore. Of course they can come up with their own
ideas, but they need some advice also. Jonathan, Dr Lau, this is a real
life situation, where youths are involved, and to get them to participate
at the conference would be a confirmation that they want to preserve their
ethnic identity, it would also be a miracle for me if the youth panel would
come into existence, because I've been working with the co-ordinator for
the last 2 months, and anything I do is a challenge, and getting the youths
involved is a huge challenge. I do need your expert advice and opinions,
all of which I sincerely respect.

Fiona has been kind and generous with her ideas. Thank you so much.
