Mission of this Hakka website

Dear Kevin and Henrietta, and Friends of Asiawind,

Yes, I cannot emphasize enough that I created this Hakka website NOT to
become exclusive in promoting just Hakka culture but to preserve it as a
component of diversed Chinese culture, and as a part of the world culture.
To be respected, we should all respect other cultures and contribute our
share as well as accepting others. If this forum and my website can achieve
a small step in promoting mutual understanding of different peoples, it
would be my greatest pleasure and reward. For this reason, I have included
in this website a lot of links on Chinese culture. I would also highly
recommend a website http://www.chinapage.org and the affiliated forum at
Yahoo http://www.chinapage.org/yahoo/yahoo.html, both founded and
adminstered by Emeritus Professor Ming L. Pei. He is over 80 years old now
and yet he has been tirelessly managing the website to introduce Chinese
culture to all the people in the world. Please do visit his website and
participate in the discussion.
