Chinese New Year

Dear friends,

With the Year of the Dragon coming up, I think it's a good time to
discuss all the traditions associated with the Chinese New Year.

Do Hakkas celebrate the New Year any different from other Chinese
groups? 

Apart from:

1. Wear new clothes.
2. Big meal on New Year's Eve (Ngyan sum soup Ngyit).
3. Give lucky money (foong pao) to elderly and children.

Are there other New Year traditions, especially peculiar to the
Hakkas?
