Hakka as a subculture of Chinese can be compared to the Mexican culture of

oppose the use of HAKKA to name any people or culture before 1700, because
this concept did not exist. It is illogical to name anyone before the 18th
Century as "Hakka", which is comparable to name anyone before 1700 as US
citizen. To use the term Hakka, we have to be scientific and careful.
