Butterfly Harp

The Butterfly Harp, YangQin/Yeurng Kum, (aka Hammered Dulcimer) of which
mine is shaped of that of a trapazoid also has traditional roots from
the Middle East. It arrived in China during the Ming Dynasty and was
redesigned to accomodate the pentatonic scale.

Note:

The Maoris of New Zealand believe their ancestry came from the Grand
Canyon of Arizona, USA. There is a striking resemblence of ancient art
patterns found in both traditional Maoris & the ancient art of Native
American of Arizona. There is also a striking resemblence of ancient
Shang Dynasty art patterns & motifs & writings with that of the ancient
Olmec culture of Meso-America in present day Mexico.
