Zhang... and other stuff I am currious about my chinese herritage...

Ok.. from the last few messages.. i have just decided to use Zhang (and since it is more accurate) as a final translation for my last name (Tiu).  And, since my grand parents already died and my aunts and uncles and father could not recall anything (but amazingly still understand chinese but do not know what dialect)... I believe it is safer to do so. now....

 

Can anyone help me with the follwoing:

1.  I would like to know if anyone is familiar with the (I do not really know what they are called but would like ot know) surname's stamp.. you know those stamps used just like a signature in paintings or poetry... I would like to get one.

 

2. Anyone familiar with the lineage of this family surname?  I am curious how this name was developed and where it came from.
