Hello,
I was referred to this site by Chung Yoon-Ngan.
I am trying to trace the name "YEE" to the region and people in China.
I do not read Chinese, so I could not read the surname list on the Hakka
site. My father-in-law and mother-in-law's fathers both came from
China to Jamaica, West Indies.
Kee Yee was my husband's grandfather's name and Chong Young
was his mother's.
I am trying to make a heritage book for my children.
Any information you can provide would be helpful.
